With the huge victory in Massachusetts on January 18, we have to maintain the pressure!

Fellow Americans!  Time is short!  It is left to "We, the People," to
PUSH BACK UNTIL!

The Mandates of "We, the People" to the Congress of the United States of America

  1. A Constitutional amendment that limits Federal spending to 10% of our cumulative adjusted gross incomes (why?)
  2. A publicized, realistic, auditable plan to pay off the public debt (why?)
  3. A combination flat income tax/national sales tax that retires the current tax code (why?)
  4. A requirement that everyone with income must pay taxes and must pay those taxes at a single rate (why?)
  5. Term limits for Senators and Representatives (why?)
  6. A plan to repeal all "entitlements" (why?)
  7. A formula for calculating the salary and retirements benefits for Congress (why?)
  8. A requirement that only those who can legally cast a vote in a Federal election can contribute money to a candidate running in that election (why?)
  9. A Constitutional elimination of the "estate tax," also known as the "death tax" (why?)
  10. An end to all corporate and business taxes (why?)
  11. A recognition of and recommitment to the 10th amendment to the Constitution (why?)
  12. A Constitutional amendment that allows ten States to include one issue on the Federal election ballot every two years (why?)
  13. A Constitutional amendment that mandates that all bills voted upon deal with one and only one subject (why?)
  14. A law that requires that each Senator and Representative certify in writing that they have read and fully understand each bill in its entirety before they can vote on it (why?)

These mandates have to be passed into law; otherwise, this Congress and future Congresses will only focus on being reelected and pleasing voters rather than doing what is best for the long-term viability of the United States of America.

Send your U.S. and State Senators and/or Representatives a letter (example: Word or pdf format) or an email asking them to support these mandates.  Ask them for a "Yes" or a "No" answer on each of the items.  That way we will be able to pinpoint and, hopefully, defeat those who are satisfied to continue the irresponsibility and ineptness we are currently seeing.
